بِسْمِ
اللّهِ
الرَّحْمـَنِ
الرَّحِيمِ
Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
(I) Begin with
the Name of Allâh WHO is Most Loving and Most Merciful
الم
1. Alif-Lâm-Mîm (Aliflâmmîm -- these letters are called prefixes, muqatta’at, only Allâh, subhaana wa ta’aala,
Knows the meanings).
ذَلِكَ
الْكِتَابُ
لاَ رَيْبَ
فِيهِ هُدًى
لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
2. Thalika alkitabu la rayba feehi
hudan lilmuttaqeena
This (Al-Qur'ân) is the Book of Allâh there is no
doubt in it. It is guidance for those
self-restraining people (Al-Muttaqűn)
الَّذِينَ
يُؤْمِنُونَ
بِالْغَيْبِ
وَيُقِيمُونَ
الصَّلاةَ
وَمِمَّا
رَزَقْنَاهُمْ
يُنفِقُونَ
3. Allatheena yuminoona bialghaybi
wayuqeemoona alssalata wamimma razaqnahum yunfiqoona
Who bring Faith in an unseen (Ghaib), establish prayer
(As-Salât), the provisions WE (Allâh, subhaana
wa ta’aala) have given them, (they) spend from it,
والَّذِينَ
يُؤْمِنُونَ
بِمَا
أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ
وَمَا
أُنزِلَ مِن
قَبْلِكَ
وَبِالآخِرَةِ
هُمْ
يُوقِنُونَ
4. Waallatheena yuminoona bima
onzila ilayka wama onzila min qablika wabialakhirati hum yooqinoona
The Book (Al-Qur'ân) which has been revealed to you (Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and the
Books which were sent down before you (they) bring Faith in all of those, and
have Faith on the Day of Judgment.
أُوْلَـئِكَ
عَلَى هُدًى
مِّن
رَّبِّهِمْ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ
هُمُ
الْمُفْلِحُونَ
5. Olaika AAala hudan min rabbihim
waolaika humu almuflihoona
Such people are on the Straight Path from their Râbb
and they are going to be successful.
إِنَّ
الَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
سَوَاءٌ
عَلَيْهِمْ
أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ
أَمْ لَمْ
تُنذِرْهُمْ
لاَ
يُؤْمِنُونَ
6.Inna allatheena kafaroo sawaon AAalayhim aanthartahum am
lam tunthirhum la yuminoona
Those people who denied (to accept these things), it is similar for them,
whether you warn them or not, however they are not going to accept.
خَتَمَ
اللّهُ عَلَى
قُلُوبِهمْ
وَعَلَى سَمْعِهِمْ
وَعَلَى
أَبْصَارِهِمْ
غِشَاوَةٌ
وَلَهُمْ
عَذَابٌ عظِيمٌ
7. Khatama Allahu AAala quloobihim
waAAala samAAihim waAAala absarihim ghishawatun walahum AAathabun AAatheemun
Allâh has set a seal on their hearts and ears and there is a covering on their
eyes. They deserve severe punishment. (R) 1
وَمِنَ
النَّاسِ مَن
يَقُولُ
آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ
وَبِالْيَوْمِ
الآخِرِ
وَمَا هُم بِمُؤْمِنِينَ
8. Wamina alnnasi man yaqoolu amanna
biAllahi wabialyawmi alakhiri wama hum bimumineena
There are some such people who say, "we have
brought Faith in Allâh and the Last Day", whereas in fact they are not the
believers.
يُخَادِعُونَ
اللّهَ
وَالَّذِينَ
آمَنُوا
وَمَا
يَخْدَعُونَ
إِلاَّ
أَنفُسَهُم
وَمَا
يَشْعُرُونَ
9. YukhadiAAoona Allaha waallatheena
amanoo wama yakhdaAAoona illa anfusahum wama yashAAuroona
They (think that they) are deceiving Allâh and the
believers, but in fact they are only deceiving themselves and they do not have
sense of it.
فِي
قُلُوبِهِم
مَّرَضٌ
فَزَادَهُمُ
اللّهُ
مَرَضاً
وَلَهُم
عَذَابٌ
أَلِيمٌ بِمَا
كَانُوا
يَكْذِبُونَ
10. Fee quloobihim maradun fazadahumu
Allahu maradan walahum AAathabun aleemun bima kanoo yakthiboona
There is a disease in their hearts, Allâh has
increased it more, and the lie they speak, in compensation to that there is
severe punishment for them.
وَإِذَا
قِيلَ لَهُمْ
لاَ
تُفْسِدُواْ
فِي الأَرْضِ
قَالُواْ
إِنَّمَا
نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ
11. Waitha qeela lahum la tufsidoo
fee alardi qaloo innama nahnu muslihoona
Whenever it is said to them that do not make mischief
on the earth, they only said: "We are the reformers"--
أَلا
إِنَّهُمْ
هُمُ
الْمُفْسِدُونَ
وَلَـكِن
لاَّ
يَشْعُرُونَ
12. Ala innahum humu almufsidoona
walakin la yashAAuroona
Beware, in fact these people are the mischief-makers but they do not have
sense.
وَإِذَا
قِيلَ لَهُمْ
آمِنُواْ
كَمَا آمَنَ
النَّاسُ
قَالُواْ
أَنُؤْمِنُ
كَمَا آمَنَ
السُّفَهَاء
أَلا
إِنَّهُمْ
هُمُ
السُّفَهَاء
وَلَـكِن
لاَّ يَعْلَمُونَ
13. Waitha qeela lahum aminoo kama amana alnnasu qaloo anuminu kama amana alssufahao ala innahum
humu alssufahao walakin la yaAAlamoona
And when it was said to them that bring Faith as other people have brought
Faith then they only replied: "Shall we bring Faith like the fools”? -- Beware, in fact they are the
fools, but they do not know.
وَإِذَا
لَقُواْ
الَّذِينَ
آمَنُواْ
قَالُواْ
آمَنَّا
وَإِذَا
خَلَوْاْ
إِلَى شَيَاطِينِهِمْ
قَالُواْ
إِنَّا
مَعَكْمْ إِنَّمَا
نَحْنُ
مُسْتَهْزِؤُونَ
14. Waitha laqoo allatheena amanoo
qaloo amanna waitha khalaw ila shayateenihim qaloo
inna maAAakum innama nahnu mustahzioona
When they meet with the believers, they say: “We have brought Faith”, and when
they meet with their Satans (Shayâtin) in an isolation, they say: “In fact we
are with you and (we) are just joking with those people”--
اللّهُ
يَسْتَهْزِىءُ
بِهِمْ
وَيَمُدُّهُمْ
فِي
طُغْيَانِهِمْ
يَعْمَهُونَ
15. Allahu yastahzio bihim
wayamudduhum fee tughyanihim yaAAmahoona
Allâh
is mocking at them, HE has been extending their rope and they have been blindly
wandering in their disobedience.
أُوْلَـئِكَ
الَّذِينَ
اشْتَرُوُاْ
الضَّلاَلَةَ
بِالْهُدَى
فَمَا
رَبِحَت
تِّجَارَتُهُمْ
وَمَا
كَانُواْ
مُهْتَدِينَ
16. Olaika allatheena ishtarawoo
alddalalata bialhuda fama rabihat tijaratuhum wama kanoo muhtadeena
These are those people, who have bought the error at
the price of guidance, but this trade is not profitable for them and they are
not on the Right Path at all.
مَثَلُهُمْ
كَمَثَلِ
الَّذِي
اسْتَوْقَدَ
نَاراً
فَلَمَّا
أَضَاءتْ مَا
حَوْلَهُ ذَهَبَ
اللّهُ
بِنُورِهِمْ
وَتَرَكَهُمْ
فِي
ظُلُمَاتٍ
لاَّ
يُبْصِرُونَ
17. Mathaluhum kamathali allathee
istawqada naran falamma adaat ma hawlahu thahaba Allahu binoorihim watarakahum
fee thulumatin la yubsiroona
Their example is like a person who ignited fire and
when it brightened all the area then Allâh took away their eyesight and left them
in such a situation that they cannot see anything in the darkness.
صُمٌّ
بُكْمٌ
عُمْيٌ
فَهُمْ لاَ
يَرْجِعُونَ
18. Summun bukmun AAumyun fahum la
yarjiAAoona
They are deaf, dumb, blind, now they will not come back (to the Right Path).
أَوْ
كَصَيِّبٍ
مِّنَ
السَّمَاء
فِيهِ ظُلُمَاتٌ
وَرَعْدٌ
وَبَرْقٌ
يَجْعَلُونَ
أَصْابِعَهُمْ
فِي
آذَانِهِم
مِّنَ
الصَّوَاعِقِ
حَذَرَ
الْمَوْتِ
واللّهُ
مُحِيطٌ
بِالْكافِرِينَ
19. Aw kasayyibin mina alssamai feehi
thulumatun waraAAdun wabarqun yajAAaloona asabiAAahum fee athanihim mina
alssawaAAiqi hathara almawti waAllahu muheetun bialkafireena
Or either understand their example, as it is raining heavily from the sky and
with it there is a pitch darkness and thunder and as well as lightning, hearing
the stroke of lightning they thrust their fingers in their ears for fear of
their lives and Allâh has encircled these deniers of truth from all sides.
يَكَادُ
الْبَرْقُ
يَخْطَفُ
أَبْصَارَهُمْ
كُلَّمَا
أَضَاء لَهُم
مَّشَوْاْ
فِيهِ
وَإِذَا
أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ
قَامُواْ
وَلَوْ
شَاء اللّهُ
لَذَهَبَ
بِسَمْعِهِمْ
وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ
إِنَّ اللَّه
عَلَى كُلِّ
شَيْءٍ
قَدِيرٌ
20. Yakadu albarqu yakhtafu absarahum
kullama adaa lahum mashaw feehi waitha athlama AAalayhim qamoo walaw shaa
Allahu lathahaba bisamAAihim waabsarihim inna Allaha AAala kulli shayin
qadeerun
Because of the lightning their condition is such as if the lightning will soon
snatch away their eyesight. When they feel a flash of light -- they walk a
little further in it and when darkness covers them then they stand still--(if) Allâh wanted then (HE) could
have totally taken away their hearing and sight, certainly, HE is Omnipotent.

يَا
أَيُّهَا
النَّاسُ
اعْبُدُواْ رَبَّكُمُ
الَّذِي
خَلَقَكُمْ
وَالَّذِينَ
مِن
قَبْلِكُمْ
لَعَلَّكُمْ
تَتَّقُونَ
21. Ya ayyuha alnnasu oAAbudoo
rabbakumu allathee khalaqakum waallatheena min qablikum laAAallakum tattaqoona
O people, obey your that Râbb WHO has created you and all those people who have
passed away before you, the hope of your salvation could be in this way.
الَّذِي
جَعَلَ
لَكُمُ
الأَرْضَ
فِرَاشاً وَالسَّمَاء
بِنَاء
وَأَنزَلَ
مِنَ السَّمَاء
مَاء
فَأَخْرَجَ
بِهِ
مِنَ
الثَّمَرَاتِ
رِزْقاً لَّكُمْ
فَلاَ
تَجْعَلُواْ
لِلّهِ
أَندَاداً
وَأَنتُمْ
تَعْلَمُونَ
22. Allathee jaAAala lakumu alarda
firashan waalssamaa binaan waanzala mina alssamai maan faakhraja bihi mina
alththamarati rizqan lakum fala tajAAaloo lillahi andadan waantum taAAlamoona
HE is the One WHO has spread-out a floor of earth for you, made a roof of sky,
showered the water from the above and by it grew all types of produces and
provided provisions for you. Therefore,
when you know this then do not take others as partners to Allâh.
وَإِن
كُنتُمْ فِي
رَيْبٍ
مِّمَّا
نَزَّلْنَا
عَلَى
عَبْدِنَا
فَأْتُواْ
بِسُورَةٍ مِّن
مِّثْلِهِ
وَادْعُواْ
شُهَدَاءكُم
مِّن
دُونِ اللّهِ
إِنْ
كُنْتُمْ
صَادِقِينَ
23. Wain kuntum fee raybin mimma
nazzalna AAala AAabdina fatoo bisooratin min mithlihi waodAAoo shuhadaakum min
dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena
And if you have doubt about it that the Book (Al-Qur'ân) which WE have revealed
to OUR Subservient (Muhammad, sallallaahu
‘alayhi wa sallam), is from US or not, then create only one Sűrah (Chapter)
like it, call all your associates, except One Allâh get the help from whomever
you want, if you are truthful then get this work done.
فَإِن
لَّمْ
تَفْعَلُواْ
وَلَن
تَفْعَلُواْ
فَاتَّقُواْ
النَّارَ
الَّتِي
وَقُودُهَا
النَّاسُ
وَالْحِجَارَةُ
أُعِدَّتْ
لِلْكَافِرِينَ
24. Fain lam tafAAaloo walan
tafAAaloo faittaqoo alnnara allatee waqooduha alnnasu waalhijaratu oAAiddat
lilkafireena
But if you could not do so, and surely (you) can never
do so, then fear from the fire, whose fuel will be human beings and stones,
which has been prepared for the deniers of the truth.
وَبَشِّرِ
الَّذِين
آمَنُواْ
وَعَمِلُواْ
الصَّالِحَاتِ
أَنَّ لَهُمْ
جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي
مِن
تَحْتِهَا
الأَنْهَارُ
كُلَّمَا
رُزِقُواْ
مِنْهَا مِن
ثَمَرَةٍ رِّزْقاً
قَالُواْ
هَـذَا
الَّذِي
رُزِقْنَا
مِن قَبْلُ
وَأُتُواْ
بِهِ
مُتَشَابِهاً
وَلَهُمْ
فِيهَا
أَزْوَاجٌ
مُّطَهَّرَةٌ
وَهُمْ
فِيهَا
خَالِدُونَ
25. Wabashshiri allatheena amanoo
waAAamiloo alssalihati anna lahum jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu kullama
ruziqoo minha min thamaratin rizqan qaloo hatha allathee ruziqna min qablu
waotoo bihi mutashabihan walahum feeha azwajun mutahharatun wahum feeha
khalidoona
And O Prophet (Muhammad, sallallaahu
‘alayhi wa sallam), those people who bring Faith in this Book (Al-Qur'ân)
and correct their deeds (according to this Book), give them good news that for
them there are such gardens underneath which canals will be flowing. The fruits of those gardens will resemble the
fruits of this world. When any fruit
will be given to them to eat, they will say that such fruits had been given to
us before it in the world. There will be
chaste spouses for them, and they will remain there forever.
إِنَّ
اللَّهَ لاَ
يَسْتَحْيِي
أَن يَضْرِبَ
مَثَلاً مَّا
بَعُوضَةً
فَمَا
فَوْقَهَا فَأَمَّا
الَّذِينَ
آمَنُواْ
فَيَعْلَمُونَ
أَنَّهُ
الْحَقُّ مِن
رَّبِّهِمْ
وَأَمَّا
الَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
فَيَقُولُونَ
مَاذَا
أَرَادَ
اللَّهُ
بِهَـذَا
مَثَلاً
يُضِلُّ بِهِ
كَثِيراً
وَيَهْدِي
بِهِ
كَثِيراً
وَمَا يُضِلُّ
بِهِ إِلاَّ
الْفَاسِقِينَ
26. Inna Allaha la yastahyee an yadriba mathalan ma baAAoodatan fama fawqaha faamma
allatheena amanoo fayaAAlamoona annahu alhaqqu min rabbihim waamma allatheena
kafaroo fayaqooloona matha arada Allahu bihatha mathalan yudillu bihi katheeran
wayahdee bihi katheeran wama yudillu bihi illa alfasiqeena
Yes, Allâh is not shy at all to give an example of a mosquito or something even
inferior than it. Those people who are
going to accept the truth, they know by seeing such examples that this is the
Truth which has come from their Râbb, and those who are not going to accept,
they say after hearing these (examples) that what Allâh has to do with such
examples? In this way with the same
thing Allâh leads many astray and shows the Straight Path to
many. And from it Allâh misleads only
those who are deceivers,
الَّذِينَ
يَنقُضُونَ
عَهْدَ
اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ
مِيثَاقِهِ
وَيَقْطَعُونَ
مَا أَمَرَ
اللَّهُ بِهِ
أَن يُوصَلَ
وَيُفْسِدُونَ
فِي الأَرْضِ
أُولَـئِكَ
هُمُ
الْخَاسِرُونَ
27. Allatheena yanqudoona AAahda
Allahi min baAAdi meethaqihi wayaqtaAAoona ma amara Allahu bihi an yoosala
wayufsidoona fee alardi olaika humu alkhasiroona
They break the promise of Allâh after strengthening it, and what Allâh has
ordered to unite they cut it apart, and create mischief on the earth. In fact these are the people who are going to
suffer the losses.
كَيْفَ
تَكْفُرُونَ
بِاللَّهِ
وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَاتاً
فَأَحْيَاكُمْ
ثُمَّ
يُمِيتُكُمْ
ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ
ثُمَّ
إِلَيْهِ
تُرْجَعُونَ
28. Kayfa takfuroona biAllahi
wakuntum amwatan faahyakum thumma yumeetukum thumma yuhyeekum thumma ilayhi
turjaAAoona
How do you adopt an attitude of infidelity (Kufr) with
Allâh? Whereas you were lifeless, HE (Allâh, subhaana wa ta’aala) gave you life, then
HE will take away your life, then HE will again give you life, then you have to
return to HIM.
هُوَ
الَّذِي
خَلَقَ لَكُم
مَّا فِي
الأَرْضِ
جَمِيعاً
ثُمَّ
اسْتَوَى
إِلَى
السَّمَاء
فَسَوَّاهُنَّ
سَبْعَ
سَمَاوَاتٍ
وَهُوَ
بِكُلِّ
شَيْءٍ
عَلِيمٌ
29. Huwa allathee khalaqa lakum ma
fee alardi jameeAAan thumma istawa ila alssamai
fasawwahunna sabAAa samawatin wahuwa bikulli shayin AAaleemun
HE (Allâh, subhaana wa ta’aala) is
the One WHO created all things of the earth for you, then paid attention
towards the above and made seven skies.
And HE (Allâh, subhaana wa ta’aala) has the knowledge of everything. (R)3
وَإِذْ
قَالَ
رَبُّكَ
لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ
إِنِّي
جَاعِلٌ فِي
الأَرْضِ
خَلِيفَةً
قَالُواْ
أَتَجْعَلُ
فِيهَا مَن
يُفْسِدُ
فِيهَا
وَيَسْفِكُ
الدِّمَاء
وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ
بِحَمْدِكَ
وَنُقَدِّسُ
لَكَ قَالَ
إِنِّي
أَعْلَمُ مَا
لاَ
تَعْلَمُونَ
30. Waith qala rabbuka lilmalaikati
innee jaAAilun fee alardi khaleefatan qaloo atajAAalu feeha man yufsidu feeha
wayasfiku alddimaa wanahnu nusabbihu bihamdika wanuqaddisu laka qala innee
aAAlamu ma la taAAlamoona
Then just think about that time when your Râbb said to
the angels: "I AM going to place a caliph (vicegerent) on the earth”. They submitted: "Are YOU going to place
such ones on the earth who will distort its arrangement and will shed
blood? We are already glorifying YOUR
Praise with hymn and homage”. (Allâh, subhaana wa ta’aala)
Said: “I know, what you do not know”.
وَعَلَّمَ
آدَمَ
الأَسْمَاء
كُلَّهَا
ثُمَّ
عَرَضَهُمْ
عَلَى
الْمَلاَئِكَةِ
فَقَالَ
أَنبِئُونِي
بِأَسْمَاء
هَـؤُلاء
إِن
كُنتُمْ
صَادِقِينَ
31. WaAAallama adama alasmaa kullaha thumma
AAaradahum AAala almalaikati faqala anbioonee biasmai haolai in kuntum
sadiqeena
After this Allâh taught Adam the names of all things, then presented them
(those things) before the angels and said: "If you are right in your idea
(that by appointing a caliph will cause disorder on the earth), then just tell
the names of these things”.
قَالُواْ
سُبْحَانَكَ
لاَ عِلْمَ
لَنَا إِلاَّ
مَا
عَلَّمْتَنَا
إِنَّكَ
أَنتَ الْعَلِيمُ
الْحَكِيمُ
32. Qaloo subhanaka la AAilma lana illa ma AAallamtana innaka anta alAAaleemu alhakeemu
They replied: “YOU Alone are free from all defects, we only possess that much
knowledge what YOU have given to us. In
fact there is none except YOU who Knows and
Understands everything”.
قَالَ
يَا آدَمُ
أَنبِئْهُم
بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ
فَلَمَّا
أَنبَأَهُمْ
بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ
قَالَ أَلَمْ
أَقُل لَّكُمْ
إِنِّي
أَعْلَمُ
غَيْبَ
السَّمَاوَاتِ
وَالأَرْضِ
وَأَعْلَمُ
مَا
تُبْدُونَ وَمَا
كُنتُمْ
تَكْتُمُونَ
33. Qala ya adamu anbihum biasmaihim
falamma anbaahum biasmaihim qala alam aqul lakum innee aAAlamu ghayba
alssamawati waalardi waaAAlamu ma tubdoona wama kuntum taktumoona
Then Allâh said to Adam: “You tell them the names of these things”. When he (Adam) told them the names of all
those things, then Allâh said: “Did I not tell you that I know all the facts of
the skies and the earth, which are hidden from you, whatever you disclose, I
know it and I also know what you hide”.
وَإِذْ
قُلْنَا
لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ
اسْجُدُواْ
لآدَمَ
فَسَجَدُواْ
إِلاَّ
إِبْلِيسَ أَبَى
وَاسْتَكْبَرَ
وَكَانَ مِنَ
الْكَافِرِينَ
34. Waith qulna lilmalaikati osjudoo
liadama fasajadoo illa ibleesa aba waistakbara wakana mina alkafireena
And when WE commanded angels that bow down before Adam then all bowed down --
but Iblîs (Satan) refused. He showed
arrogance of his greatness and joined the disobedients.
وَقُلْنَا
يَا آدَمُ
اسْكُنْ
أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ
الْجَنَّةَ
وَكُلاَ
مِنْهَا
رَغَداً حَيْثُ
شِئْتُمَا
وَلاَ
تَقْرَبَا
هَـذِهِ
الشَّجَرَةَ
فَتَكُونَا
مِنَ الْظَّالِمِينَ
35. Waqulna ya adamu oskun anta
wazawjuka aljannata wakula minha raghadan haythu shituma wala taqraba hathihi
alshshajarata fatakoona mina alththalimeena
Then WE said to Adam: "You and your wife, both live in the Paradise and
eat freely whatever you want, but do not go near that tree, otherwise would be
included with wrongdoers”.
فَأَزَلَّهُمَا
الشَّيْطَانُ
عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا
مِمَّا
كَانَا فِيهِ
وَقُلْنَا
اهْبِطُواْ
بَعْضُكُمْ
لِبَعْضٍ
عَدُوٌّ
وَلَكُمْ فِي
الأَرْضِ
مُسْتَقَرٌّ
وَمَتَاعٌ
إِلَى حِينٍ
36. Faazallahuma alshshaytanu AAanha
faakhrajahuma mimma kana feehi waqulna ihbitoo baAAdukum libaAAdin AAaduwwun
walakum fee alardi mustaqarrun wamataAAun ila heenin
Eventually, Satan tempted both of them for that tree and made them to disobey
OUR command and got them expelled from that state in which they had been. WE commanded: “Now you all go down from here,
you are enemies of one another and you have to stay and reside on the earth for
an appointed term”.
فَتَلَقَّى
آدَمُ مِن
رَّبِّهِ
كَلِمَاتٍ فَتَابَ
عَلَيْهِ
إِنَّهُ هُوَ
التَّوَّابُ
الرَّحِيمُ
37. Fatalaqqa adamu min rabbihi
kalimatin fataba AAalayhi innahu huwa alttawwabu alrraheemu
At that time Adam learned a few words from his Râbb
and repented, which his Râbb accepted, because HE is most Forgiving and
Loving.
قُلْنَا
اهْبِطُواْ
مِنْهَا
جَمِيعاً فَإِمَّا
يَأْتِيَنَّكُم
مِّنِّي
هُدًى فَمَن
تَبِعَ
هُدَايَ
فَلاَ خَوْفٌ
عَلَيْهِمْ
وَلاَ
هُمْ
يَحْزَنُونَ
38. Qulna ihbitoo minha jameeAAan
faimma yatiyannakum minnee hudan faman tabiAAa hudaya fala khawfun AAalayhim
wala hum yahzanoona
WE said: "You all go down from here.
And whatever guidance comes to you from ME, then those people who will
follow the guidance, there shall be no occasion of fear or grieve for them,
وَالَّذِينَ
كَفَرواْ
وَكَذَّبُواْ
بِآيَاتِنَا
أُولَـئِكَ
أَصْحَابُ
النَّارِ هُمْ
فِيهَا
خَالِدُونَ
39. Waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo
biayatina olaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona
And those who will refuse to embrace it and will deny
OUR Revelations; they are the ones who have to go to the fire, where they will
live forever”. (R) 4
يَا
بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
اذْكُرُواْ
نِعْمَتِيَ
الَّتِي
أَنْعَمْتُ
عَلَيْكُمْ
وَأَوْفُواْ
بِعَهْدِي
أُوفِ
بِعَهْدِكُمْ
وَإِيَّايَ
فَارْهَبُونِ
40. Ya banee israeela othkuroo
niAAmatiya allatee anAAamtu AAalaykum waawfoo biAAahdee oofi biAAahdikum
waiyyaya fairhabooni
O Children of Israel, just remember MY blessings, which I granted you. You fulfill the promise you had with ME then
I fulfill the promise I had with you, and you only fear ME.
وَآمِنُواْ
بِمَا
أَنزَلْتُ
مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا
مَعَكُمْ
وَلاَ
تَكُونُواْ
أَوَّلَ كَافِرٍ
بِهِ وَلاَ
تَشْتَرُواْ
بِآيَاتِي
ثَمَناً
قَلِيلاً وَإِيَّايَ
فَاتَّقُونِ
41. Waaminoo bima anzaltu musaddiqan lima maAAakum wala takoonoo awwala
kafirin bihi wala tashtaroo biayatee thamanan qaleelan waiyyaya faittaqooni
And bring Faith in the Book (Al-Qur'ân) that I have sent down. This is in confirmation of the Book which you
already possessed; therefore you should not be the first to deny it. Do not sell MY Revelation (Ayât) for a little
price and avoid MY anger.
وَلاَ
تَلْبِسُواْ
الْحَقَّ
بِالْبَاطِلِ
وَتَكْتُمُواْ
الْحَقَّ
وَأَنتُمْ
تَعْلَمُونَ
42. Wala talbisoo alhaqqa bialbatili
wataktumoo alhaqqa waantum taAAlamoona
Do not make truth doubtful by coloring with falsehood and nor try to conceal
the truth deliberately.
وَأَقِيمُواْ
الصَّلاَةَ
وَآتُواْ
الزَّكَاةَ
وَارْكَعُواْ
مَعَ
الرَّاكِعِينَ
43. Waaqeemoo alssalata waatoo
alzzakata wairkaAAoo maAAa alrrakiAAeena
Establish prayer (Salât), pay the poor-dues (Zakât), and bow down along with
those people who are bowing down (Ar-Raki'űn) before ME.
أَتَأْمُرُونَ
النَّاسَ
بِالْبِرِّ
وَتَنسَوْنَ
أَنفُسَكُمْ
وَأَنتُمْ
تَتْلُونَ
الْكِتَابَ
أَفَلاَ
تَعْقِلُونَ
44. Atamuroona alnnasa bialbirri
watansawna anfusakum waantum tatloona alkitaba afala taAAqiloona
You urge others to adopt the righteous path -- but you
forget yourselves. Whereas
you recite the Book. Do you not
use your common sense at all?
وَاسْتَعِينُواْ
بِالصَّبْرِ
وَالصَّلاَةِ
وَإِنَّهَا
لَكَبِيرَةٌ
إِلاَّ عَلَى
الْخَاشِعِينَ
45. WaistaAAeenoo bialssabri
waalssalati wainnaha lakabeeratun illa AAala alkhashiAAeena
Seek help with patience and prayer (Salât), no doubt prayer (Salât), is an
extremely hard task -- but it is not difficult for those obedient servants
الَّذِينَ
يَظُنُّونَ
أَنَّهُم
مُّلاَقُو
رَبِّهِمْ
وَأَنَّهُمْ
إِلَيْهِ
رَاجِعُونَ
46. Allatheena yathunnoona annahum
mulaqoo rabbihim waannahum ilayhi rajiAAoona
Who understand that ultimately they have to meet with
their Râbb and have to return to HIM. (R) 5
يَا
بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
اذْكُرُواْ
نِعْمَتِيَ
الَّتِي
أَنْعَمْتُ
عَلَيْكُمْ
وَأَنِّي
فَضَّلْتُكُمْ
عَلَى
الْعَالَمِينَ
47. Ya banee israeela othkuroo
niAAmatiya allatee anAAamtu AAalaykum waannee faddaltukum AAala alAAalameena
O Children of Israel, remember MY favor that I granted you and recall that I
had preferred you on all other nations of the world.
وَاتَّقُواْ
يَوْماً لاَّ
تَجْزِي
نَفْسٌ عَن
نَّفْسٍ
شَيْئاً
وَلاَ
يُقْبَلُ
مِنْهَا
شَفَاعَةٌ
وَلاَ
يُؤْخَذُ
مِنْهَا
